How to develop helpful and progressive mindset

Work on developing your mindset whenever you feel you are overtaken by your problems, your focus is being taken away, you are left with little energy, or you are not able to give your best to your goals in your day to day life.

The problems you face in your day to day life, they can take away your focus, drain your energy, and keep you held back from giving your best to your goals in your day to day life.

So the way you deal with your day to day problems is important. And ‘how’ you deal with your day to day problems has a lot to do with the mindset you carry.

If you are carrying a harmful and unprogressive mindset, or any aspect of your mindset is harmful and unprogressive, you will likely remain held back.

Hence, for your focus and energy, and for your progress and wellbeing, it is important to develop a healthy, helpful, and progressive mindset. Here’s how:

1. Accept your problems

Think about the problems you face in your day to day life, and accept the fact that they (problems) exist in your life. Attempt to accept the fact without getting affected by your problems.

Just like a doctor who is scheduled to carry out a major operation on their patient. They understand their patient has a problem. They do not let the problem of their patient affect their mind, so they can carry out the operation successfully.

2. Resolve to solve them

If you have been facing repeated failures in the CA course, there are high chances that you have been facing a lot of non-academic issues or problems which take away your focus, drain your energy, and keep you held back from giving your best to your goals in your day to day life.

It is important to learn to deal with your non-academic problems effectively. Keep a resolve to do everything in your control to solve your problems in order to progress towards your goals.

3. Get rid of the unhelpful aspects in your mindset

Whenever you feel affected by any problem in your day to day life, attempt to think a bit about the mindset you are carrying towards the problem.

Can you adopt a different mindset towards your problem? Can you attempt to get rid of whatever is unhealthy, unhelpful, and unprogressive in your mindset? Attempt to get rid of the same.

4. Attempt to adopt a healthy, helpful, and progressive mindset

You can develop your mindset in such a way that whatever the problems you face in your day to day life, your wellbeing and progress remain unaffected by it.

This is possible when you get rid of the unhelpful aspects in your mindset, and attempt to develop a healthy, helpful and progressive attitude toward your day to day problems. Whatever the problems you face in your day to day life, your dealing of it should help your wellbeing and your progress.

5. Work on it, bit by bit

You don’t have to devote all of your time towards developing a healthy mindset towards your problems. You can work on developing your mindset whenever you feel you are overtaken by your problems, your focus is being taken away, you are left with little energy, or you are not able to give your best to your goals in your day to day life.

Work on your mindset bit by bit, and over a period of time. Do not expect to change it all in a day, overnight, or right now. Attempt to get rid of the unhelpful aspects as and when you face the problems. Attempt to think about developing healthy perspectives towards your problems.
